Is the Fed Raising Rates Enough?
Since the Fed started raising rates, credit expansion has gone up. I would argue that there is a banking supervision framework to consider as well. The commercial banks balance sheets are supervised. So in that sense, it may tighten monetary conditions through that effect. And so it's going to help them free up some of that.
