Hannah Bronk: I just wanted to say that before we start even conversation, because this book is really important and it was important to me. One of the beautiful things about Hannah's work is her attention to care. She says being friends with people who aren't professors can be a powerful tool in your academic practice. Bronk: You know, one of the great pleasures of what my life has been like since I moved to Vancouver is that almost all of the community that I made upon moving here were not professors.
