The conservatives took this case because they are frustrated that state courts have been making it easier to count votes or to vote in these kind of what seemed to them to be like marginal setting. And I don't think it's actually a very good vehicle. They're having a problem finding a limiting principle for when the state court is not allowed to say what its state constitution means.
