The Human Psyche
In europe, the forest represented the realm of danger. In polynesia, there is an ocean and there are sharks. The psyche dictates what the roles are to be. It's like hamlet being played or macbeth being played in a high school. Why isn't everybody so afraid of snakes? This seems to be very deep. A snake looks to me like a sort of travellinger sophagus,. you know, a alimentary canal. And so it sort of symbolizes the avidity of life to gobble you up... But er, even a tiny little snake is a shocker.
