The Second Experience Is Crucial
People turn out too one of two ways. Either they become sort of sceptics, in the good sense. And go on through life chastened that they're less deceived. Or there are those who become serial converters and deconverters - people who hop from one epiphany to another. I i think that going through the second experience is, ah, is the really crucial one. Of course, you can't go through a second experience if you don't go through the first. But, but it's in the second that you really, ah, can become something else.
