The Importance of Banking in America

Banking started in America when Mr Ingalls employed a fellow called John Davis. Despite the fragile nature of the banking system, it's suffice to inject sufficient money into the American economy for the American economy to grow at three times the rate of the UK Economy. What is disrupted by technology that's going to destroy the banks? And then we're in a totally new world - and I think this can be painful again.
