How Long Away Are the Footprints Found?
Archaeologists have found human footprints at haysborough. They were made some time between eight hundrednd forty and 950 thousand years ago. That's how long ago the thames took that path to the sea. And they would have remained hidden forever, but for the fact that the norfolk coast is being eroded in the way it is. It makes us confront all sorts of realities about who we are and what it means to be people living in our part of the world.
