Gas flaring is already illegal in nigeria. It has been since 19 84, nearly forty years than i've been alive. The company continue to flare and tem pa the associated fine - which is very meagre but doesn't cas them anything serious. He says if you look down from above, you can see the difference that regulation can make. And we also see weak laws of the nigedan government, he adds.
