I think there's a determination in her to not abandon Holy Church. She was also aware that it might not be seen for a long time because it's not safe. In the text, she does say again and again and again, don't turn away from Holy Church. So you're not just an individual. I have her thing. The church does matter,. actually, without saying that means it's always right in every case as it really isn't. And this is about a normal woman having an experience that she puts down to religious visions which then drives the rest of her life.
