Is There a Need to Know God's Will?

I was listening to the audio version of a course in miracles last night. And this idea came up that our will is God's will and coming from a recovery mindset where, you know, make God's will be done not mine. I feel like I understand it, but there's something there that's still like it just isn't sitting right. So if you feel like there is a distinct sense that called self will and you want another distinct sense called higher power of God's will. Hold it that way. The dividing thing will always end up.
