The Evolution of ECPR

In an ECPR center, what should be the case is that you have a pump already primed and ready to go. Depending on the manufacturer, they could just sit there for 30 to 60 days, ready to go and sitting there. Now it really could just be done by a bedside nurse who's had a little additional ECMO training or, you know, all of us because of the way we teach our course. If they bring the prime pump to me, I could get them set up myself.
