Sonic Zone: The End of the World
The sense of continuity massively adds to the storytelling, says Tuckles. Each level has its own little cutscenes which create a feeling that what you are in is a place rather than a game. The squeeze tag machine is like the third in a sequence of like four bosses. There's no reason for him to burn the forest down except to possibly maybe kill Sonic. And then you go from this place to the next.
