A friend of mine, seeing how great is my torment, has graciously consented to look after the details. I say this to make sure that no blame falls on anyone other than myself. The DA's office was hesitant to discuss the case publicly, because they worried that it would affect their ongoing investigation negatively. Matt had confessed to the killing, but his explanation still seemed completely far-fetched and completely unbelievable.
