Newcastle looked a bit leggy, didn't they? There was passes going awry and people were getting caught in possession. It just didn't seem to come together in that first half at all. So yeah, it was flat and felt, I think lethargic is probably the right word for both Newcastle,. Joel Linton gave the ball away a few times - you could feel the frustration in the crowd starting to grow.
