The Importance of Text in the Creation of the First Weapon

The God of the Jews and his wisdom decided to enter into history during a time when text was the preeminent disseminator of history. He could have waited, but he did. And I think if we knew exactly what Jesus looked like, there'd be this kind of weird idol worship thing that'd be a problem. The pattern of God's character does align more with the culture that text based worlds create.
