The Unsolved Double Homicide in a Public Place
Cornell Sledge and Kate Brown were gunned down in broad daylight at a Cleveland Metro Park on June 4th, 2019. The two had been friends for more than a decade before their deaths. Authorities have managed to narrow this down to parking in the lot at approximately 5.04 p.m. Police say sometime between 5.08 and 5.15 p.m., an unknown person or persons shot them. Two kayakers discovered the bodies just minutes after they got out of their cars.
