In 1992, Leona Benton was six weeks pregnant when she took the abortion pill. She and her boyfriend tried to overturn a Supreme Court ruling that banned it. They were stopped at JFK by customs who confiscated their medication. But Larry had secretly squirreled away an extra dose of the abortion pill which he used in clinical research trials. This helped pave the way for the legalization of the abortion Pill in America.
