Is the Higgs Boson Discovery a Disaster?

Most people think it was a triumph. That's a good thing for your job security. But how many of those folks are named Higgs? Like I imagine if your name is Higgs then it was definitely a triumph. Maybe if you have no connection to the boson at all and now your name is famous he wonders how that feels actually. He personally felt a little bit of disappointment when we discovered the Higgs boson.
