i think that a when frequency isn't the only variable being manipulated, maybe practically, there there are some reasons you might favor higher frequencies. And also, like i said, higher frequencies may just allow you to tolerate higher total training volume. 8 to ten sets per muscle group per week as is a pretty decent starting point. That's not ridiculous single session training volume.
