FIA's Communication in a Formula Race Is Imperative
I don't think the FIA reaction was good. It's a high pressure situation. But I think they made a decision to put the vehicle out on track. Someone released that it was the wrong decision. The most important thing is to just acknowledge the mistake. When there was a near-miss and we got away with it, we treated it exactly as hard as if something bad was happened. We didn't double down. We Didn't pretend there was a problem. You have to admit, this was bad. And in my egotistical assumption that someone from the FIA is listening, please just break that cycle of pride.
