John Defterios: I was on set a few times and certainly very intensively during episode eight this season. But the main role I was never in the writer's room, the main function was blue skying at the end of every season about where the next season could go. And then as the writing got underway, the writers would reach out periodically to ask, well, okay, we're thinking about a scene ... What would he say in that meeting? Who would be at that meeting? Where would that meeting take place? Would there be food there? You know, etc., etc.
