There's a common, sensical reading of the pit lane rule that seems to imply it only works in the pit lane. Chris Katmanteuna sent me a well-intentioned chart telling me what points would be scored at various percentages of the races. I spent the whole race thinking there would be limited points for this race and then there was full points. My brain hurts from all those figures you can go to. The only person or the only thing that got it right was the world feed coming up saying 25 points for back to everything. That was a very British Empire,. Why didn't they follow the chart, Carol? They did. It comes down to quite a small technicality
