The White House and Bernie Sanders Aren't Happy, This Shows He's Not Going to Do Anything Against the Biden Administration
The resolution could have ended U.S. support for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, including maintenance of its warplanes. There's been no Saudi airstrikes since March but there has been a recent uptick in fighting on the ground. If Biden did veto it, sending it through Congress would have sent a message to the White House and send a message to Riyadh,. But instead they caved.
