Duchamp's 19 17 Fountain, or Urinal?
Marcel duchamps 19 17 fountain, or urinal is an instulation that might be familiar to some people as the epitome of dada. There have been many debates recently about whether it was really duchamp's eurinel at all. Fountain sprung from this creative group that gathered in the salon of walter and louise ahrensburg - who were wealthy art collectors but also big supporters of duchamp.
