What Happened to Dr. Lewis Jacobs?
Dr. Lewis Jacobs was accused of trying to arrange an abortion for Frissey, a woman he didn't want to marry. He got acquitted in the second trial and went back to Baltimore where he started his own practice. His wife died seven months later; her two daughters were buried alongside their father. "It's a very sad story, and it shouldn't have happened," says author Roxanne Jones.
