The Long Necked Giraffe

A new fossil found in Mongolia has revealed a Jurassic Giraffe, at least a metaphorical one. The fossil is a lacewing larvae, and it's the oldest of its kind ever discovered. Scientists analyse more than 20 years of satellite data covering 135 cities. 106 have expanded their coastlines by filling in wetlands and other coastal water bodies. China has added the most land, Shanghai alone added more than 350 square kilometres.
