The Value of Imitation
I learned so many things in those environments that's hard to even quantify it's a deeply humbling experience I'll never forget it being in Zambia and having a friend invite me over for dinner only to realize my friend angel didn't have electricity you couldn't run a coffee grinder. And their experiences like that where they just open your eyes to a different experience of life for sure and resourcefulness. Imitation is a highly undervalued form of innovation. Not knowing isn't an excuse to not taking action which has become kind of a central motto at Stanford.
