Introduction

John O'Nolan is the founder of Ghost, an open source nonprofit company that makes well over $60,000 a month in revenue. In 2012, John was a WordPress developer who had become disillusioned with how bloated and complex WordPress had become. He created some mockups and put together a concept page for a new type of publishing platform which would focus on one thing: helping bloggers get their voices heard.
