What Happens to Edward the Fourth?

Yorke is killed on the battlefield by a lancastrian army. His eldest son edward, earl of march, was not there. He later has a claim to the throne as well, doesn't he? But something has to happen for yorke himself in order for edward to move up and become king. The two armies meet at touhton, which is probably the largest battle in terms of number of combatants to be fought on english soil. According to some estimates, up to 28 thousand people on the battlefield.
