Manitee Science

The west indian manitee, or sea cow, is a large ocus. Manitees will literally die if they aren't consistently in water above 68 degrees fahrenheit. Many of florida's manitees would migrate every winter to inland natural springs to get their hot water fix. But as more and more of that habitat was destroyed or blocked off by development, people started to notice manites congregating near power plants.
