The Evolution of the Human Body

Of our 20 thousand human genes, about a hundred and forty five were thought to have arisen through that horizontal gean transfer. In mammals, part oft the building of the placenta is derived from genes that were not ours. So we we are a kind of chimera, i guess. And actually these bacteria not only share our body, but if you look inside a cell, inside a human cell, we have these organes called mitochondria.
