What's the Difference Between SOA and Microservices?

I guess the daylight hasn't like reached certain places you know where they're still using the term SOA. Even using microservices is kind of a service-oriented architecture but it's not what SOA was right? I'm just like didn't anybody get the memo that that stuff disappeared like 15 years ago or at least this is the thing about our industry that could be frustrating but fascinating, he says. So yeah I think all these movements in our industry they always are are so we know how it's gonna go they're gonna get overloaded and over hyped people will miss the point according to him.
