Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety is a really important and helpful emotion that we experience. On kind of a self-protection level, it's obviously there to let us know that something could be dangerous and get us to try and avoid that thing. But depression is something that it can be a little bit hard-upped for people to kind of intuitively understand what's the purpose of depression? Similar to anxiety, though, it is a helpful strategy at lower levels. Depression gets us to retreat when we're exhausted. It's basically your body trying to help you outlast the problem.
