The Importance of Collective Ownership in AI

I became fascinated with this idea of like what would it mean if we could see that same trajectory realized but under cooperative ownership. If you could see in the next 10, 20, 50 years something like a Google or a Facebook or an Amazon that was cooperatively owned and they're integrated there's a new kind of level of transparency and democratic governance. We as citizens should have some say over how they're governed and should benefit from the profits that are generated so I'm yeah that's something I'm fascinated in.
