David Walliams reviews a paper on dyadic interpersonal physiology. He finds it difficult to make progress simply because there is nowhere to hang his hat. 'I would trust them about as far as I could throw all the authors staple together,' he says of some papers. But others are just method in search of problem he has no faith in whatsoever.
