How to Teach Volleyball in an Ecological Environment
"I spent nine years or more from when I was six to when I was 15 or 16, just watching and doing," he says. "Can you imagine any player now playing for nine years with little or no coaching in this country? I don't know that anybody could actually even create an environment like that." He thinks if there were some outpost of volleyball, where they just played and experimented and tried stuff, somebody there would probably come up with something that we've never thought of before.
