I think tone, it's just like in sales. Like if I call somebody and I sound angry on a cold call, like that cold call is not going to go well. So for me, I make it very clear, like I'm not giving you this feedback because I enjoy criticizing me. And then to be very transparent, if you make more money, I will make more money. One of two things will happen: They understand where I'm coming from; Two, it goes poorly.
