The Hoover Model of Food Consumption

After World War One, the American food system is based off canned and packaged food directly after this area. The canners and packagers who set up that system are able to get really high margins because of government policies. And they do to the degree that when the war ends, they've created a whole different kind of food system. That's in some ways still the food system that we're dealing with now.
