The Existence of the Dog Is Not God

If god had a property of existence, then he would have to get it from somewhere. Every existing thing has to be caused by something which just is pure existence. So the existence that makes my dog exist is not god. It's its own property of existence. But it comes god, ato. God is a subsistent existent, a, you know, just subsistent being. And then this dog has its own act of being, which is particular to it, and by which it's distinct fromgod. so i would say that caso thomas says that god is not the formal being of everything. Yes?
