Is DevOps a Good Idea?

We had a mature DevOps model perhaps earlier than most people who were incorporating DevOps into their companies. We just didn't have, let's think about it as from the perspective of why not being in the cloud, why being on-prem. And we also didn't need to be building and shipping and releasing new apps all the time. So there was never a need for an infrastructure on top of which we could deploy new services. But because it wasn't something that happened too often, it wasn'tsomething that we had to solve for.
