In the 1920s, Virginia Woolf was treated and mistreated by some of the so-called brilliant doctors of her era. She refused to go into analysis claiming that if I'm analyzed, the doctor will take my creativity away. There is a real fear that if you go into the therapy, your creativity will be taken away. This is what I call the Virginia Woolf Syndrome.
