Was cervantes specifically taking a political stance and trying to affect policy, or was he just objecting to the disinformation. The way we think of his work is really at a series of lessons on what we call in the book 'reality literay' There is that incentives o the media, incentives to frame reality that way, and also our own reasons for wanting to buy into those representations.
