The Evolution of Makasid
The most explicit usage of makasid came about with imamul jawani, imamul harawin who was the well known teacher of Abu Hamil al-Razali in the 5th century. He said that whoever does not understand and acknowledge the objectives and the causes that underlie a lost commands and his prohibitions has no insight into the nature of the shiriyah. And then from there you saw the scientific study of mak asid develop over the next three centuries. In terms of context or the scope of where it applies, would it be fair to say that it applies in all aspects of the deemed that's including Ybaddat and Marmul
