The Future of the India-Russia Relationship

There was a round of reporting saying the cracks in the in the India-Russia relationship are starting to emerge cynically. Are we in fact witnessing a liminal phase where although the cracks may be small they're going to provoke a fundamental rethink from New Delhi about just how much of a liability Russia is?
