How to Find a Balance in Filming

I think early on it is shoot as much as you can and then the curation process to be able to find the best clips. I have had like one or two projects that I've had to edit other people's footage first because when you shoot it you know what you have. The creative process is not the edit it's not only the edit anyways It's like the location the movements the style of shoot the lens the settings like all of that plays together which makes great films in my opinion.
