Are You Trusting Your Neighbor?

When there's a greater level of trust between people, markets are more likely to flourish. In rural areas, and I've lived in very rural areas for a long time, you trust your neighbors. You regard government as intrusive in a high density urban area. And that's weird because I'm surrounded by far more people. But I don't know who my neighbors are. And my tendency may be to trust them less. And so I put my trust instead into government. It's interesting, right?
