The Power of Shame

Moses voiced two objections, both of them phrased in the form of a question. Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? He's weeping because it was exposed, that part of himself that grace couldn't touch. There's a word for that: Shame. The parts of ourselves that we keep in our imagination at least outside of the reach of God's grace.
