As the US dollar weakens, usually you would expect US treasuries to underperform other bond markets around the world. We have a confirming signal from gold but we definitely don't have it from the bond markets. By loosely pegging the remin beat of gold, China could be offering the likes of Russia, Venezuela, Qatar, Iran and anyone else waiting to bypass the US dollar a deal.
