The Importance of Noise

Nobel Prize-winning physicist explains what noise is and distinguishes it from bias. He uses an analogy to target shooting that he found particularly illustrative. In fact, the overall measure of error is simply the square of the bias plus thesquare of the noise. That's what I would display today.
