The Power of Trust

I think there's something so powerful about somebody who is not afraid to die. I'm looking at people that are some sisters, some of the missionary charities that I encountered. And there's this toughness to them and yet a total abandonment to God's will. C.S. Lewis talks about the difference between the martyr and the suicide. He said the martyr is somebody who, when he's attacked and surrounded by all sides, fights, fights to live, but is ready to die. Whereas the suicide says, I don't want to live and so I'll just run towards death.
